Who this statement covers
AgRhythm Ltd is responsible for the personal information it collects and holds through this website, its contact forms and related conversations. This statement applies when you browse agrhythm.nz, contact us or register your interest in AgRhythm.
What we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:
- Contact details, including your name, email address and phone number.
- Farm and enquiry information, including your region, details you share about your farm, and the work you are interested in.
- Messages and correspondence you send to us.
- Website and attribution information, which may include your IP address, browser or device information, pages visited, referral or campaign details, and timestamps.
Providing that information is voluntary, but the form cannot be submitted without it and we may not be able to respond to your enquiry. You can contact us directly by email instead.
Why we use it
We collect and use personal information where it is reasonably necessary to:
- respond to questions and arrange follow-up conversations;
- understand whether AgRhythm may be useful for your farm or work;
- manage early access, service enquiries and customer relationships;
- operate, secure and improve AgRhythm and this website;
- understand which pages and communications are useful; and
- meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
If we want to use your information for a different purpose that is not directly related, we will ask where required.
Website measurement and cookies
Our website uses bounded first-party campaign attribution, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand page visits and interactions such as calls to action, offer selections, confirmed enquiries, and email or phone contact links. Google and Meta may receive event information along with browser, device, cookie or similar identifiers.
We create a first-party attribution session only when a visit contains campaign information, a supported advertising click identifier, or an external referrer. It records limited source information and a bounded journey summary such as the first, previous and latest page, selected call to action, offer and page-view count. It does not record typed form contents, keystrokes or a replay of the visit.
We configure Google Analytics for website measurement without Google advertising signals or ad personalisation. We do not send the contents of enquiry fields to either measurement service.
Meta Pixel measurement is browser-based. We do not currently send website or CRM events to Meta through the Conversions API.
You can turn website measurement off below. Your choice is saved in this browser and we also respect supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. Turning measurement off stops future provider measurement, removes the first-party attribution reference from this browser, and does not prevent you from reading the website or contacting us.
This controls first-party attribution, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel. Campaign details present on the page where you choose to submit an enquiry may still be included with that enquiry so AgRhythm can understand where it came from.
Storage and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure.
A first-party campaign attribution reference may be retained in your browser for up to 90 days, and the corresponding bounded attribution session is set to expire after 90 days. If you submit an enquiry or create an account, relevant campaign details linked to that action may become part of the resulting lead or customer record. We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, including responding to an enquiry, maintaining an active relationship, improving our services, or meeting legal obligations. We then delete or anonymise it when it is no longer required.
No internet service is completely secure. If you believe information you have shared with us has been affected by a security issue, please contact us promptly.
Your rights
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. You can also ask us to delete information where appropriate, or raise a concern about how it has been handled.
We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner ↗.
Changes to this statement
We may update this statement as AgRhythm or the services supporting the website change. The latest version will be published here with its updated date.
